Fontany's love of specific movies and TV shows runs far deeper than it does for most, and this love has flowed into many areas of his life, including his speech, his most precious belongings and his art practice. As a neurodivergent artist, Fontany's echolalia and area of focussed interest are often focussed on his favourite films, and for the artist, the object of the film itself is of equal importance to the film itself. VHS tapes have been a constant, present both at home and in the Studio and are watched, meticulously stacked, and often the focus of his practice. This focus has also been a strong connector and builder of community for Fontany, as so much of his audience relates to the nostalgia of the VHS, and the joy specific characters have brought them throughout their lives - for such a specific interest area, this art has reached and touched such a broad audience.

In an age of the digital, it has become harder and harder to source VHS tapes. In addition to scarcity, they are bulky and unfortunately, do not last forever. In what is having to be a transitional period for Oliver in more ways than one, he would like to introduce his first DVD stack.
