TEXTILES

Oliver began experimenting with Textiles in 2022 and is quickly growing to love the medium. The bold linework evident in the artist’s drawings is emulated by the thick thread and connecting stitching, while the vibrant colours are replicated through thread, fabric and textile paint choices. With the addition of varied and contrasting textures as well as a myriad of subject matters, the resulting works are a multi-sensory convergence of styles and interests!

The artist intends for these works to be enjoyed by both sight and touch, increasing accessibility and enjoyment.
